Cherry’s Company

Based in Tokyo’s Nerima district, Cherry’s Company is the workshop of Kaichiroh Kurosu. Since founding the shop in 2000, Kurosu-san has transitioned from a specialized Harley-Davidson mechanic to a globally recognized custombuilder, known for his ability to mix organic, architectural forms with high-performance engineering.

Kurosu-san is perhaps most famous for his “Highway Fighter” series, specifically his reimagining of the BMW R nineT. Drawing inspiration from the 1934 BMW R7 prototype, he used hand-beaten aluminum to create a silhouette that feels both nostalgic and ahead of its time. His work also extends into pop culture, having built the “Battle Hopper” for the Kamen Rider Black Sun series and the custom motorcycles seen in the 2022 film The Batman.
