Based in Tokyo, Little Wing Engineering is a highly respected technical workshop operated by Yoshihiro “Yoshi” Ohira. While many shops in the Japanese custom scene focus primarily on aesthetics, Ohira-san has built a formidable reputation as a master mechanic and engine specialist, specifically for vintage American iron.

Ohira-san is widely regarded as an authority on vintage Indian and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. His approach is rooted in precision engineering rather than just bolt-on customization. He is known for his deep technical knowledge of various engine platforms, ranging from early Sidevalves and Knuckleheads to more modern V-twins.

Little Wing Engineering functions as both a general service shop for riders and a high-end subcontractor for other professional custom shops that require expert engine work. The services provided include: Total Rebuilds and Restoration, which are complete mechanical overhauls of vintage Indian and H-D motorcycles to factory or better-than-factory standards.

Yoshi’s workshop is located within a Tokyo living area in the basement of his house and is a well known space for all Vintage Indian Motorcycle riders across the country.
