Axel Borchardt

Axel Borchardt was a well known Ducati dealer and restorer based in Alstorf, Germany. For many decades he privately raced bevel Ducatis in ‘Zuvi-Rennen’ and supported racing teams with his mechanical skills. As a talented amateur photographer he mainly captured his beloved Italian bikes. He documented these endurance races in 1984 with his 35mm Minolta. Axel was happy to support this bookazine with his photos and personal stories but died completely unexpected in summer of 2015 at age of 65.
