Axel Borchardt

Axel Borchardt was a well known Ducati dealer and restorer based in Alstorf, Germany. For many decades he privately raced bevel Ducatis in 'Zuvi-Rennen' and supported racing teams with his mechanical skills. As a talented amateur photographer he mainly captured his beloved Italian bikes. He documented these endurance races in 1984 with his 35mm Minolta. Axel was happy to support this bookazine with his photos and personal stories but died completely unexpected in summer of 2015 at age of 65. Gary Margerum

Gary first picked up a camera while surfing/travelling and would document the landscape and people of his surrounding while the surf was dormant. Born in Herzebrock, Germany, Christian Eusterhus graduated as typesetter and studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld. He worked as a freelance photographer based in Cologne for various clients, agencies and exhibition projects. Since 2010 he is co-owner and operator of Eusterhus Druck GmbH, a family-run company specialized in upmarket offset and digital print production. Hermann Köpf

Grown up in a Bavarian village where annual hillclimb races started his two-wheeled passion, Hermann had his first ride in age of five on a 1930ies Sachs Presto before he ended up spannering and riding on his pre-electronic Ducatis also in classic hillclimb races.
